Introduction
يقع الجزء الغربي من وادي سوبيرة – موقع عمل البعثة المصرية - في المنطقة المحصورة بين مدخل الوادي غربا و حتي منطقة تفرع وادي سوبيرة مع وادي ام العش ، بمسافة حوالي 14 كم .تحتوي هذه المنطقة علي عدد كبير من الشواهد الاثرية المتعددة التي توجد داخل نطاق النشاط الحديث.
The western part of Wadi Subeira - the site of the Egyptian mission - is located in the area between the entrance of the valley in the west and in the meeting point between Wadi Subeira and wadi Umm al-Ash. This area contains a large number of archaeological sites within modern activities zone.

تم كشف معظم المواقع الاثرية بالجزء الشرقي اثناء اعمال الفحص لتراخيص المناجم الحديثة لمادة الكلاي. قبل عام ٢٠٠٥ لم يكن معروف من هذه المواقع الاثرية بالمنطقة سوي عدد قليل جدا الذي سجله بعض الاثريين في وقت مبكر. بعد اعمال المسح الاثري المرافق لاعمال المناجم الحديثة تم كشف عدد كبير من المواقع الاثرية.
Most archaeological sites were discovered in the eastern part of Wadi Sueira during the examination of modern mining licenses for. Before 2005, only a very few archaeological sites in the area were known to have been recorded by some early archaeologists. After archaeological survey accompanying the modern mines, a large number of archaeological sites have been uncovered.
تحتوي هذه المنطقة علي عدد متوع وكبير من الشواهد الاثرية منها النقوش الصخرية والمحاجر القديمة و الطرق الصحراوية و الملاجئ الحجرية المرتبطة بها و كذلك عدد كبير من ادوات و ورش ماقبل التاريخ.
This area contains a large number of archaeological features, including rock art, ancient quarries, desert roads associated stone shelters and many of prehistory scatter tools and workshops.
